About This Quote
Jonah Havalseth was a Norwegian who fought in the war during World War II. He saw the horrors that people were forced to endure, and he wanted to make sure that things would never happen again. He felt such a great sense of purpose as a result of his purpose; he decided he had to do what he could to make sure that those horrors never happened again. His motivation was so strong that he wanted to know if there was something he could do to help prevent the Holocaust.
Jonah began to obsess about this and spent most of his time thinking about these horrific events and trying to figure out what he could do. He believed that God was going to bring the Holocaust into fruition, and that it didn’t matter if anyone else believed or tried to stop it. But he wanted to be sure, so he decided to try and stop it himself even though it was likely impossible.
